We are equipped with porta-potties which are serviced frequently during camping events.
Food vendors provide a variety of delicious edibles, from snacks to full, healthy hot meals. Hot showers may be available for a small fee.
Quiet Camp is located at mile marker 3 on Suttle Road in Veneta, adjacent to the Oregon Country Fair. (directions)
There is a convenience store at the intersection of Territorial & Suttle for sundries such as tobacco, snacks, soda, and the like. Downtown Veneta is about one mile away, and offers a supermarket, pharmacy, laundromat, hardware store, a variety of restaurants (both sit-down and takeout), gasoline, and a discount department store.
Our campsites border the Oregon Country Faire property, and the fair entrance is only 1/2 mile from our gate.
We have no formal entertainment planned for this year so please feel free to create or perform. Spontaneous jam sessions and sing-alongs are common events, and just watching the beautiful costumed people is entertainment enough for many.
Dogs, cats and other pets are at risk of exposure, overheating and becoming lost, and are not permitted at Quiet Camp.
Lane County Animal Control patrols the areas surrounding Veneta, especially during fair time. Do your pets (and us) a favor and make arrangements to have them cared for so that you can have a fun, carefree time at the fair.
Pets are also not allowed in the Oregon Country Faire or at Faerieworlds, so please make your arrangements before you get to town...your pets will thank you.
This is western Oregon, where it might be 96 degrees in the shade in the afternoon and/or 36 degrees overnight. Rain is exceedingly rare here during the Summer.
Please take weather forecasts with a grain of salt and come prepared to dress in layers so you can enjoy the full range of beautiful weather in Veneta!
